Weird thing is: After that, clicking the "Share Screen" button yielded a dialog again, so that part is back to normal (although I don't see how above actions could have influenced that). So I just uninstalled it a couple of minutes later. Starting it, I noticed that German translation is missing (not a deal breaker) but it wouldn't "migrate its database" (permissions issues?). Since my searches did not yield any hints, I just wanted to give Flatpak a chance.
